When can I register my child?
Regular School Office Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00-3:00
What do I need to register my child?

You will need to provide the following documents for registration:

  1. In order to verify your child's residence, two of the following forms will be accepted: 
  • Home Ownership Title consisting of a Warranty Deed, Quit Claim Deed, or security deed
  • Current Residential (apartment or home) lease with the physical address signed by tenant and landlord
  • Current Utility Bill (power, water or gas; only one accepted - dated within the last 30 days)
  • Current year property tax record
  • Current W-2 Statement for the parent/guardian for the location of the legal residence

If you are a divorced parent or legal guardian of the child you are enrolling, you must provide legal documentation naming you as the custodial parent or legal guardian.  This is necessary for the protection of your child.

  1. Child's certified birth certificate
  2. State of Alabama Blue Immunization Form
  3. Child's social security card (OPTIONAL)
  4. Withdrawal form from previous school

We will be unable to enroll your child if we do not have two of the above forms of current address verification at the time of registration.

When does school start?
The school day begins at 8:00 am and we dismiss at 3:00 pm. Students who are transported by car must enter the building through the main front doors on the Red Hall next after 7:10 a.m. Students who ride bicycles, or walk to school must arrive after 7:15 a.m. and enter through the front doors of the school.  Students that arrive at school before 7:45 a.m. will need to report to their assigned morning areas. The school day begins at 8:00 and we dismiss at 3:00 Please see our Parent Information Packet located in the Parent Section.  Click on Publications.
What is the procedure for changing how my child goes home?

A written signed note must be sent to the homeroom teacher stating the change in transportation.  No student will be allowed to change transportation routines without a written note signed by a parent or legal guardian. ParentSquare and email messages are allowed; however, parents must send these by 8:00 a.m.; otherwise, the teacher may not see the message.

When can my 5th or 6th grader get a locker?
Lockers for 5th and 6th graders are on sale during the first week of school through the homeroom teacher. The cost is  $10.00 per student.  Students do not share lockers.
