I attended Auburn University in Montgomery and Alabama State University. I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education as well as a Master's in Library Science. I have taught third grade for a total of 8 years in the Chilton County School System. I'm currently embarking on my 26th year in Autauga County at Daniel Pratt Elementary. I have worked in the capacity as a first grade teacher as well as a Media Specialist. I decided to teach because I wanted to impact and empower our future generation.
