I believe learning is a lifelong process, and it starts with an effort to do one's best accompanied with a passion to obtain the goals one sets. Children should be immersed in a learning environment that provides inquiry and discovery. Reading should open doors to many opportunities and allow children to explore the world around them, as well as, let their imagination expand beyond its known limits! This is my thirteenth year of teaching, and I have been at DPES for all thirteen years. I taught fourth grade for the first five years, and have worked as an RtI Facilitator the past seven. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my second grader, Zoie. We enjoy downtown Prattville and all it has to offer (hiding rocks, playing in the creek, and all the fun places to get a treat).
