I am honored to be the principal at Daniel Pratt Elementary School. This school has a wonderful history of excellence. We strive towards maintaining this standard of excellence through hard work, quality instruction, and providing resources that help all of our students achieve success.
I want my life to reflect God and not myself. My mission is to serve and help people in any way that I can. It is my hope that my work will have a lasting impact for the advancement of others.

I have also taken additional master's level classes in the areas of reading and mathematics, gone through the Huntsville Space and Rocket training for teachers, I was an Alabama Reading Initiative Presenter, and I have been part of many other workshops as a presenter and participant.
I attend Frazer UMC, and I am blessed to have a wonderful family. My husband, David, works at International Paper as a supervisor in the Power House. My step-son Dave and his wife Leslie live in North Alabama, and they have two beautiful children, Emma Grace and Kade. My other step-son Lane and his wife Shanna live in Randolph, Alabama. They have two beautiful daughters named Lilyann and Laykin. My daughter Brittany serves within the youth ministry at Frazer United Methodist Church as the Senior High Youth Minister. My daughter Hannah is married to Michael Josey. Hannah teaches and coaches at Eastwood Academy. Her volleyball team won the state title and she was named Coach of the Year! Michael is a pharmacist and they live in Montgomery.
