You will need to provide the following documents for registration: 1. In order to verify your child's residence, two of the follow forms will be accepted: - Property tax records
- Mortgage documents or property deeds
- Residential lease (apartment or home) - This must be a legal document
- ONE utility bill (power or gas)
- Automobile Registration
- A court decree declaring the resident to be the legal guardian of the student
If you are a divorced parent or legal guardian of the child you are enrolling, you must provide legal documentation naming you as the custodial parent or legal guardian. This is necessary for the protection of your child. 2. Child's certified birth certificate 3. Child's certificate of immunization 4. Child's social security card 5. Withdrawal form from previous school We will be unable to enroll your child if we do not have two of the above forms of current address verification at the time of registration. Back to Top -------------------------------------- When does school start? The first day of school will be August 10, 2009. The school day begins at 8:00 am and we dismiss at 3:00 pm. Students who are transported by car must enter the building through the Yellow Hall doors next to Gym after 7:15am. Students who ride bicycles, or walk to school must arrive after 7:15 a.m. and enter through the front doors of the school. Students that arrive at school before 7:45 am will need to report to their assigned morning areas. 1st - 3rd graders need to go directly to the gym upon arrival. Fourth graders will report to the lunchroom upon arrival. Fifth graders will go to the music room. Sixth graders go to the outside in the courtyard (hallway if weather is bad). Back to Top -------------------------------------- What is the procedure for changing how my child goes home? A written signed note must be sent to the homeroom teacher stating the change in transportation. If a change is made during the day, a faxed note stating the change must be received by the office no later than 1:30 pm. No students will be allowed to change transportation routines without a written note signed by a parent or legal guardian. Back to Top -------------------------------------- When can my 4th, 5th or 6th grader get a locker? Lockers for 4th, 5th and 6th graders are on sale July 28th-July 31st 7:30am-10:30am on the Purple Hall. The cost is $5.00 per student. Students do share lockers. You will also be able to purchase STI-$5, AR Web-$5, Math Take Home Workbook-$10 and give a family donation of $30. Back to Top
